Background
Not much is known about the fat student other than the fact that he studies in The Royal and Pontifical University of Santo Tomas. One of his classes is Physics.
Story
Chapter 13: Fat student yawns during Physics class and as a result, he is noticed by Padre Millon and scolded. He is the first student to be asked to recite the lesson on mirrors, but when Padre Millon asks him what kind of mirror that camagong or marble qualify as, he cannot answer. Padre Millon then asks him if a mirror is the material surface or the substance placed on the surface, but fat student just repeats the lesson.
Padre Millon asks if fat student admits that the surface is the mirror but fat student does not know how to respond. His seatmates tell him to concede so he does so. Padre Millon asks what happens if you remove quicksilver from a mirror and put bibingka instead, and fat student is unable to answer.
